Welcome to Vohuma. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vohuma application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Vohuma (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Vohuma.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vohuma. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for unauthorized purposes.

3. The Service

Vohuma provides:

• AI-powered voice conversations to understand your emotional context
• Personalized meditation scripts and sleep stories generated by AI
• Text-to-speech audio narration with ambient soundscapes
• AI-generated cover art for stories
• Social features including public sharing, likes, comments, and a discover feed

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content. While we strive for quality, AI-generated content may occasionally be imperfect, unexpected, or not suited to your needs. Vohuma is a wellness tool and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, therapy, or mental health treatment.

4. Your Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of the information you provide to Vohuma, including your memories, preferences, and conversation context. AI- generated content (scripts, audio, and cover art) created for your account is yours to use, share, or delete.

Public Content

When you choose to publish a story publicly, it becomes visible to other Vohuma users and anyone with the share link. You can unpublish a story at any time to make it private again. By publishing content, you grant Vohuma a non-exclusive license to display it within the Service (e.g., in the discover feed).

Prohibited Content

You agree not to publish content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes on the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users through comments, messages, or public content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Intellectual Property

The Vohuma name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are owned by Vohuma and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written consent.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet your specific expectations.

Vohuma is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or call your local emergency services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vohuma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. Upon deletion, all your personal data, memories, meditations, and generated content will be permanently removed from our systems. This action is irreversible.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Vohuma after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
